Natural home remedy using sorrel leaves and olive oil:

1. Crush a handful of sorrel leaves
2. Add 2 tbsp olive oil
3. Mix well
4. Apply this paste on the swelling
5. Wash off after 15 min

Natural home remedy using dandelion leaves and clarified butter:

1. Take a handful of dandelion leaves
2. Crush them to make a paste
3. Add 2 tsp clarified butter and mix well
4. Heat the mixture till it turns lukewarm
5. Apply this paste on affected area
6. Leave it for 15 min
7. Do this for 2 weeks

Tips:

• Consume food rich in iodine like;
   o Pineapple
   o Carrot
   o Garlic
   o Onion
   o Oats
   o Whole rice
   o Lettuce
   o Tomatoes
   o Strawberry
   o Guava
   o Cucumber

Earache




Earache:

• Swelling 

Causes:

• Injury to the ear canal
• Moisture inside the ear
• Blockage of the Eustachian tube due to:
   o Environmental smoke
   o Allergies

   o Deposition of wax
   o During a flight
   o Constant exposure to loud sounds

Natural home remedy using garlic and mustard oil:

1. Take 2 cloves of garlic
2. Add 2 tsp mustard oil
3. Mix and heat till garlic turns black
4. Allow the oil to cool
5. Put 2-3 drops of the oil inside the affected ear

• Garlic's analgesic properties help relieve the pain

Natural home remedy using basil leaves:

1. Crush few basil leaves
2. Press them on a sieve and extract juice
3. Strain the juice using a fine strainer
4. Pour 2 drops of this juice in the infected ear

1. Add 4 garlic cloves in 1 glass water
2. Heat water for 10 min to soften the cloves
3. Crush the cloves to make 1 tsp garlic paste
4. Add a pinch of salt
5. Mix well
6. Wrap the paste in a thin piece of cloth 
7. Place the cloth on the infected ear

Natural home remedy using basil leaves:

1. Crush a handful of basil leaves
2. Press them on a sieve and extract juice
3. Pour 2 drops of juice in the infected ear
4. Continue for a week

Tips:

• The Eustachian tube might get blocked during air travel or when one is at a high altitude. To unblock  
   the tube: 
   o Chew a gum
   o Yawn
• Get your ears regularly cleaned by a doctor
• Do not clean ears with any sharp objects
• Wear ear plugs while swimming
